Men can apply for all the security forces under CAPF-AC exam whereas women can’t apply for ITBP

The 5 different security forces for which CAPF-AC exam recruit candidates-

  • Border Security Force (BSF)
  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

CAPF-AC exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) once in a year. One can find its notification on the official website of UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission conducts written examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)
