Punjab Master Cadre Salary Structure
The Punjab Master Cadre salary has been revised and now they will receive a salary based on the 7th Central Pay Commission. The teaching candidates will receive Rs. 35400 as salary in hand. This revised salary structure applies to the newly appointed teacher only. The teachers appointed in earlier recruitment processes will not be eligible to receive this revised salary. They will still be receiving the salary based on the 5th Pay Commission. The detailed salary structure for the Punjab Master Cadre is explained below in a tabular form:

Punjab Master Cadre Salary: Allowances
The Punjab Master Cadre Teachers who are appointed in Punjab Government Schools will receive all the allowances and benefits as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. However, as mentioned above, teachers who are serving the probation period are not eligible for these allowances. They will start receiving these allowances only after their assessment is satisfactorily complete and they are appointed as permanent teachers.
