UIIC AO – SYLLABUS & BLUE PRINT
United India Insurance may conduct screening and main examination for AO posts. If the number of candidates applied is less, then the company may conduct only main examination.
The main examination consists of written online examination with descriptive paper. Below is the UIIC AO Main exam syllabus and pattern.

Data Interpretation (20 – 25), Time & Distance, Time & Work, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Profit Loss etc. (5 – 10 Questions), Simplification (5-10 Questions), Number Series (5), Data Sufficiency (5), Quadratic Equations (2 – 4)
Reasoning
Directions, Coding – Decoding, Statements and Assumptions, Blood Relations, Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Data Sufficiency, Puzzle Test, Alphabets Sequences, Courses of Action, Statements and Conclusions.
English
Reading Comprehension (High Level), Spotting Errors, Ordering of the Sentences, Synonyms, Antonyms, Basic Grammar, Fill in the Blanks, Cloze Test, Sentence Improvement, Sentence Rearrangement.
General Awareness (Special Reference to Financial Sector)
Last 6 months current affairs, important events, people, places, awards, sports, deaths . Around 40 – 50% questions might be asked from Banking and Financial Background and 2 – 5 questions from Insurance sector.
Computer Knowledge
You can expect questions from Basic Computer Parts, MS Office, Shortcut keys, Internet, Networking and recent updates in Computer Sector, Windows, Networking Concepts, Email, Page Setup and Printing Skills, Accounting Knowledge in Computer and use of pen drive etc.
Professional Knowledge
Questions will be asked to test your knowledge on the area which you have applied for (Finance / Automobile Engineering / Legal).
